Jim played the trumpet in junior high and high school, then shelved his musical interests for many years to pursue first his education and career and then raise his children.  Several years ago, he placed the winning bid on a bass guitar at a charity auction.   Then what started as bass lessons became an opportunity to play in a band formed by his teacher, Russ Chapman.  “Legal Age is a group of great friends who enjoy playing music and it is a privilege to be a part of it,” says Jim, “and yes, Kentucky Mama Catfight really happened.”
